There are many people today who see no need to belong to a Church, who believe that Christians only need the Bible as their sole rule of faith. For these same people, private interpretation of the Bible and a personal relationship with Jesus excludes any role for the Pope, Bishops, or priests. This is essentially “Jesus and me” Christianity. Unfortunately, such a mentality has led to the creation of thousands of competing sects, causing confusion and scandal for Christians.
In this talk, Robert Haddad draws exclusively on Scripture to show that Christ had another vision for Christians. From Scripture, Robert proves that Christ did in fact establish a single Church, that this Church was founded on the “rock” of St. Peter, and that this Church is the one, holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. To this day, this same Church continues to be led by the Pope and the bishops in communion with him, and is “the pillar and bulwark of truth.”
